Terms of Service
These terms apply to locksmith services provided by No More Locked Doors Richmond, and to your use of this website. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Quotes and pricing
- We provide a callout fee and an estimated cost before attending.
- Estimates are based on the information you give us. If conditions on site differ, we stop and provide a revised quote before continuing.
- Prices include GST unless stated otherwise, and your invoice itemises callout, labour and parts.
Proof of identity and authority
Before opening any lock or supplying keys, we require photo identification and reasonable evidence that you own the property or vehicle, or are otherwise authorised to access it. If that evidence cannot be provided, we will not carry out the work and the callout fee may still apply.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the property, the lock and the situation.
- Ensure safe access to the work area.
- Obtain any owners corporation, landlord or heritage approval that the work requires.
- Tell us about known defects in the door, frame or existing hardware.
Non-destructive entry
We attempt entry without damage wherever the lock permits. Some locks cannot be opened non-destructively. Where drilling or replacement is the only option we will explain why and obtain your agreement before proceeding.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed account terms in writing. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. Overdue accounts may incur reasonable recovery costs.
Cancellation
You can cancel a booking at no charge before we are dispatched. If we have already travelled to the site, the callout fee applies. See our returns and refunds policy for goods.
Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our negligence or by a failure to meet a consumer guarantee. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects in doors, frames or hardware, for damage that was unavoidable in gaining lawful entry after you approved the method, or for loss arising from information you gave us that was inaccurate.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee in relation to services is limited to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having them resupplied — except where limiting liability would not be fair and reasonable, or where the law does not permit that limitation.
Website content
Information on this website is general in nature and is not security advice for your specific property. Always confirm current legal requirements with the relevant Victorian authority.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
